A Dream Destination & A Soul Stirring Experience The capital of Andhra Pradesh has a history of over 400 years. Mohammed Quli Qutub Shah, the fifth Sultan of Golconda, fell in love with Bhagamathi and founded the city of Bhagyanagar in 1591. Later he renamed the city as Hyderabad. Situated on the banks of the river Musi, the city gives travellers fascinating glimpses of past splendours - the legacy of its four hundred year old history. Located in the south central part of India, this city has a distinct identity of its own, amalgamating the cultures of north and south. A cosmopolitan city, Hyderabad is a center of attraction for its blend of Moghul grandeur and modernity. |
